Description
Introducing the hoodie from our ‘Basque Streetwear Company’ line, to develop this sweatshirt we have been inspired by the nostalgic culture of retrosportswear.
The structure is made of a 550 gsm high grammage fabric. The idea is that the fabric completes the silhouette, providing a fully intentional excess of fabric, the fabric falls by gravity piling up around the waist and cuffs. In this way, the fabric and the pattern feed back in perfect harmony, resulting in a unique silhouette with the Urgull stamp.
At Urgull we differentiate ourselves by our attention to detail, and one of the most important is the interaction between fabric and skin. Therefore, our two pieces go through a brushing process on the inside for a soft touch with the skin, and on the outside it has a fluffy touch.
To finish, in addition to the brand embroidery, we have added decorative seams with 3 needles and 5 flatlock threads, and the metal label with our name. All this without breaking the minimalist aesthetic.

Our cotton is crafted from 100% organic long-staple yarn that’s carefully twisted and brushed for exceptional quality.
- Long staple cotton, compared to regular cotton, is less likely to form pilling and creasing. Offers both a softer feel and greater strength, making it ideal for high-end garments.
- In spinning, twisting is used to hold the fibres together. Imagine you are making a braid with yarns, the more you twist them, the more they hold together. The same principle is followed for yarns.
- On this product, the cotton is brushed by combing the fabric to create a soft, fuzzy texture. This process enhances the warmth of the fabric, making it perfect for cold weather clothing.
